It wasn’t until I decided to create a small business, in 2020, that I had considered the importance of adhering to copyright laws. All of a sudden, I realized that contravening copyright laws could result in fines or other penalties that would sink my budding property services business.
I was pleased, however, to find that the internet is rich with content which can be reused freely under Creative Commons licences. As a teacher, my prior experience in considering copyright in content creation will help me to create lessons for students which can be easily replicated, adapted, and published without fear of penalty.
